I.D.E.A. Competition Teams
Competitions Overview
The I.D.E.A. program is proud to support VEX IQ and VEX VRC state wide and internationally. A partnership with the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation, Cherokee Nation and NSU's College of Education allows direct support for teams in the areas of teacher support and student support in establishing and maintaining competition teams.
I.D.E.A. and RoboHawks, a student organization in NSU's College of Education, hosts a regional and state championship each year as well as helping to prepare state champions for the VEX Robotics World Championship.
RoboHawks is sponsored by I.D.E.A. and the College of Education competing in VEX competitions. Since the inception four years ago, RoboHawks have qualified and attended the World Championship three times and has won the VEX World Championship Judge's Award. RoboHawks now consist of two teams, NSU1 on the Tahlequah campus and NSU2 on the Broken Arrow Campus.
